The Cisco Kid
The Cisco Kid Meets His Sister
by
The Cisco Kid follows Cisco, a Mexican-American outlaw who rides the range with his loyal companion, Pancho. Though the pair are often treated as bandits by the authorities, they are portrayed as good-hearted adventurers who use their wits and courage to help people in trouble and set wrongs right.
The radio series brings listeners into a Western world of dusty trails, frontier towns, and sudden danger. Cisco and Pancho encounter disputes, schemes, and threats that call for quick thinking as well as action. Their partnership is central: Cisco is the confident, resourceful leader, while Pancho’s warmth and humor give their adventures a lighter touch.
The result is an accessible blend of Western adventure and comedy, with a strong emphasis on loyalty, justice, and the bond between its two heroes. This recording is titled “The Cisco Kid Meets His Sister,” placing the familiar duo in an adventure centered on Cisco’s family.
This recording is part of the Old Time Radio collection.
