Mrs. Eleanor Roosevelt's Own Program
Better Housing
by
Mrs. Eleanor Roosevelt's Own Program features Eleanor Roosevelt speaking directly to listeners about public affairs and issues of concern to American life. This broadcast is identified as “Better Housing,” a subject that connects everyday living conditions with broader questions of community welfare and social responsibility.
The program offers a personal, spoken presentation rather than a dramatic radio story. Listeners hear Roosevelt address the topic in her own voice, with the focus on ideas and public discussion. Its appeal lies in the opportunity to encounter a prominent public figure communicating directly with a radio audience about matters affecting ordinary people.
This recording is part of the Old Time Radio collection.
