I can't imagine how much work this took, but it is greatly appreciated.
Great Collection - But There's More

Thank you for this! There's a small group of us interested in archiving these old broadcasts in high quality FLAC format. many of these recordings come originally from low quality MP3 files that I put together with a number of friends about 15 years ago. This also includes the majority of files you find on YouTube. If you're interested in the high quality archival process - especially if you have games to trade - please contact me: evensendg AT gmail DOT com. I've got stuff not available here, including two different broadcasts of the 1934 World Series Game 1, the missing games of the 1955 World Series, and more. And, if you want to support the project, or download stuff in the highest quality, check out my page: https://www.patreon.com/cw/DanielEvensen
Baseball purists rejoice

The modern game of 2025 has become simply irritating, with constant ads for gambling and statistics, half of which don't mean what the announcers seem to think they mean. I could go into details, but there's no point. Baseball is being polluted by the same factors that make most pop culture today unbearable. Making the playoffs requires a team to meet the lofty standard of "above average." Baseball was the last sport I watched with some regularity. I don't know who baseball is made for today, but it's not me. I'm old, and I remember. Many many thanks to the researchers. I will use this as a background while playing Historical Seasons in Out of the Park Baseball, and dreaming a little dream of a simpler time.
Excellent Collection

Priceless collection

I hope this one stays up, at least the pre-1964 content. A pox on the stranglehold of US copyright law.
