As the plot unfolds, Wimsey is confronted with another murder—the death of Agatha's maid. With no clues or leads, he must navigate a complex web of horror and senseless murder that stretches from a picturesque Hampshire village to a chic London flat. Hugh Burden as Lord Peter

(5 stars)

Just wonderful, a must listen. Ian Carmichael is the usual Lord Peter, but Hugh Burden has his own style.

excellent radioplay of an excellent story

(5 stars)

really enjoyed listening to this play by my favourite crime author, Dorothy L Sayers. hundred years on, the story remains modern and very entertaining. I also liked this version of the story, although Ian Carmichael remains as my favourite Lord Peter.

Classic radio theater

(4 stars)

British actors are the best for British roles. The advantage of dramatization is that it shortens the work. on the other hand some authors like Sayers are enjoyed as much for their prose.

It’s good fun to listen to this old production of a Lord Peter Wimsey mystery. I really liked it.
