The Bed Sitting Room
John Antrobus and Spike Milligan
The Bed-Sitting Room is a surrealist play set three years after a nuclear misunderstanding that led to the shortest world war on record. Survivors gather in the rubble of London, where Captain Kak and his fiancée Penelope encounter Lord Fortnum, who believes he is transforming into a bed-sitting room.
This atmospheric piece, originally written by John Antrobus and Spike Milligan, features a talented cast including Paul Merton, Derek Jacobi, and Catherine Tate.
This recording is part of the Old Time Radio collection.
