The Country Wife is a Restoration comedy by William Wycherley, adapted and directed by David Blount. This play, considered too obscene to be staged in its original form for nearly 200 years, tells the tale of Mr. Horner, a notorious rake who spreads the false rumor that he is impotent in order to gain access to other men's wives.

The cast includes Ben Miller as Horner, Geoffrey Whitehead as Pinchwife, Clare Corbett as Mrs. Margery Pinchwife, and many more talented actors. The production features music by Stephen Warbeck, played by Nick Cooper and Anna Hemery.
