I remember hearing this on the radio decades ago. It was the first time I'd come across, or at least paid attention to, the glorious Mary Wimbush. Her performance shone then and it still does. But then the whole production is flawless - the writing, the casting, the rest of the performances, everything. Now it's on librivox I come back to it every now and then and it delights me every time 😄.
