A Great Resource

The readers are excellent. I'm not crazy about this translation (one example is Yahweh of Armies instead of The Lord of Hosts) but it doesn't mar the sense of the text, IMHO. I've been using it to listen to the Minor Prophets as a refresher. It's wonderful to be able to listen as I do manual work.
Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!

I've been searching the internet for a free mp3 audio bible for several years. The only other OT I found is full of skips. Thank you so much for this audio bible!

Many a truth….Many a truth! Listen carefully to the wisdom within, and navigate your life accordingly! GOD ALMIGHTY is surely omnipotent and omnipresent! How wonderful….for consolation in times of sadness and to be able to give thanks to him in times of joy or awe.

Really good to listen thru this a few times. I did not like the reader of Deuteronomy tho. (Pretty sure that was the one.) He just sounded like he was out to damn the world no matter what! I think all the others were good.
Great reading of modern English version of the Bible.

the greatest adventure ever told
Bill Cosby
It has everything. Incest, rape, genocide, Devine judgement, you name it. Some may not like it the old timey language, and some of the stories could be lengthened to flesh out some of the details, however in terms of majesty and breath it can not be beat. It is comparable to Moby Dick. Now if we could just get JJ Abrams (spellin?) to do a remake of the book of Joshua we could have the next star wars or game of thrones. xrated it would be for it would be xcellent

Only a few chapters in but I'm loving this. I'm not religious in any way, this however is a good listen as a fiction for ways of thought from the status quo of old. if you really want to drum into people's heads that women are basically not worth mentioning this is where you would start, start the brain washing....
