Set in 1979, this gripping drama follows hapless accountant Arthur and his wife Gwen as they befriend the charismatic novelist Reeve. Initially, Reeve's carefree nature offers a glimpse into a world beyond their suburban life, but the relationship soon takes a sinister turn.

With powerful performances and a haunting soundscape, the play captures the grimness of late-70s suburbia. As Reeve's colossal ego disrupts their lives, the tension builds, revealing the unsettling dynamics of their friendship.

Dramatised by Mike Walker from a short story by Ruth Rendell, this production features sound design by Steve Bond and direction by John Dryden.
