My Little Margie

My Little Margie is an American situation comedy that aired from 1952 to 1955, featuring Gale Storm and Charles Farrell. Created by Frank Fox, the series was produced at Hal Roach Studios in Los Angeles and alternated between CBS and NBC. It premiered on CBS as a summer replacement for I Love Lucy on June 16, 1952, and later moved to NBC in the fall of 1953.

The show is set in New York City and follows 21-year-old Margie Albright, played by Gale Storm, and her widowed father, Vern Albright, portrayed by Charles Farrell. They live in an apartment at the Carlton Arms Hotel, where Vern works as a vice-president at an investment firm. The series features a cast of memorable characters, including Vern's girlfriend Roberta and Margie's boyfriend Freddy Wilson.

Notably, My Little Margie aired original episodes on CBS Radio concurrently with the TV broadcasts from December 1952 through August 1955, with only 23 radio broadcasts known to exist. The series was ultimately canceled in 1955, but Gale Storm continued her career with The Gale Storm Show, which ran for 143 episodes from 1956 to 1960.
