Probably a Springbok production starring Graham Armitage and Kerry Jordan. Armitage and Jordan did a lot of classic Sherlock Holmes stories, but then they did some "new" adventures, too. OTRR has a bunch of their episodes posted here on Archive.org and in their online library. I only have dates for a few of them, but they seem to range from 1979 to 1985. Excellent production. Music and acting were spot on. :)

I have listened to almost all of this, but there are no credits at all. Does anyone know who were the actors, and when this was produced? This follows the novel very closely, which I enjoyed. Most of the radio shows cut some part of the novel out due to time constraints. The atmosphere of the show was very good as well

Very well done multiple actor rendition. Obviously truncated, but major parts intact. For a radio play, top notch.
