American Armed Forces Radio No 1
Lu par Eddie Mayhoff
American Armed Forces Radio presents a fun quiz show format where the host asks questions for the audience to answer and keep their own score. Initially hosted by Eddie Mayhoff, the show later transitioned to Mel Blanc.
The American Forces Network has a rich history, tracing its origins back to May 26, 1942, when the War Department established the Armed Forces Radio Service (AFRS). In 1954, the television mission of AFRS was officially recognized, leading to the establishment of AFRTS (Armed Forces Radio and Television Service). Over the years, all Armed Forces broadcasting affiliates worldwide merged under the AFN banner.
