Men At Sea
Men at Sea is a World War II docu-drama about the Atlantic convoys and the men who served in this dangerous theater. Produced by the NBC Radio Network with technical assistance from the War Shipping Administration and the U.S. Maritime Commission, this series was broadcast in the summers of 1943, 1944, and 1945 to aid recruitment for the U.S. Merchant Marine.
The Men at Sea series is a quality effort featuring good sound effects, a plausible plot line, and well-known radio performers. It stands as a little-known radio gem from the war years of 1943-1945.
This recording is part of the Old Time Radio collection.
