Vicki
February 2024. Old book, old thoughts and yet strangely applicable to current happenings. The rumblings of equality , justice, and oppression in daily news along with the ideas of communism, fascism , socialism and democracy are still used in political discourse.I appreciated the book from another angle in that he writes of negro men and women who contributed to the history of the USA and I knew little of them . This is why during Black History Month they should be celebrated . Teach the history . Acknowledge the contributions. Well read . Thank you .
