Bob Hope did very well in radio, television, and of course, motion pictures. A present day older audience would better understand the jokes with many of them geared to events and persons prominent at the time. At this time (April 1952) his radio show was well funded by his advertiser with a featured female singer and a celebrity guest - in this audio, Claudette Colbert.
