All-Star Western Theatre
The top western stars of the silver screen were featured on the "All-Star Western Theatre", a highly entertaining series of shows first heard in 1946. This series was first hosted by Cottonseed Clark and featured the music of Foy Willing and the Riders of the Purple Sage.
The broadcasts in this series are a virtual round-up of singing cowboys, including Tex Ritter, Eddie Dean, Jimmy Wakely, and Ken Curtis, as well as Saturday Matinee favorites like Tim Holt, Wild Bill Elliott, Alan "Rocky" Lane, and Johnny Mack Brown.
