Christmas With Lucy Maud Montgomery: A Selection Of Stories
Lucy Maud Montgomery
Read by David Wales
This work is a selection of Christmas stories (or sometimes chapters) of Lucy Maud Montgomery from different sources and different times. The focus is widened a bit to include a few works about Thanksgiving Day and New Year’s Day. LMM was a prolific Canadian author in the early 20th century whose works were very popular in her own country as well as the United States, and indeed around the world. Perhaps her most read novel was her first, Anne Of Green Gables. - Summary by david wales (5 hr 31 min)

That was disappointing. I listened to less than 2 min. The narrator is terrible & it seems like a chunk is missing...or the narrator was running more sentences together then I noticed in the monotony. Did the narrator notice ANY comma's, quotation marks or periods??
Delightful

Worth the listen anytime of the year, but especially pleasant on Christmas Eve! Narrator was great and the stories had everything one loves about L.M. Montgomery.

David Wales does an amazing interpretation of these holiday stories by Montgomery. This is my second Christmas season listening to them on my daily walk. Do yourself a favor and plug into a gentler, heartwarming era of Christmas.

Súper ! J’aime beaucoup l’histoire du panier, et celle de la demoiselle sans amis dans une pension de famille.
