This Trollope is even worse than her son at placing innumerable obstacles in the way of a happy ending.. Nevertheless, it is a good tale read expertly by Celine Major.

Long Story

I found this book to be very long and drawn out and almost gave up on it more than once. The reader is excellent, though!

Story is too long for my taste. This caused too many chapters to draaag. Plot was interesting and ending satisfactory.

Despite the beautiful narration, the style is awful. Especially the talk about a deformed woman.

Really wanted to listen to this book but the reader is much too fast for it to be enjoyable. Tried slowing it down but it was still to fast. Tried listening for a couple of chapters but just couldn't do it. I usually don't mind what other reviewers call a a too fast narration, but this one is just unlistenable for me.
