"The Art of War is a Chinese military treatise written during the 6th century BC by Sun Tzu. Composed of 13 chapters, each of which is devoted to one aspect of warfare, it has long been praised as the definitive work on military strategies and tactics of its time. The Art of War is one of the oldest and most famous studies of strategy and has had a huge influence on both military planning and beyond. The Art of War has also been applied, with much success, to business and managerial strategies." (summary from Wikipedia) (1 hr 12 min)

Thanks Moira, well read

(5 stars)

Thanks Moira enjoyed the reading very much, needs to be listened to a few times. I haven’t heard the text since the 1980’s. Can’t get the App to work on the iPhone now.

A very insightful and in-detail account of how to win your battles. This is a very short read and something everybody should give themselves the pleasure of reading. At first glance it seems like a strange ancient war book, but don’t judge a book by its cover. This book gives wisdom that can be applied to everyday life.

Nicely read for a rather old text. It is informational and one that I will probably re-listening to rather than reading it myself.

A short concise look at some of history's most important military strategies. I feel that I need to listen to it twice because there was so much detail in such a short book. This book contains very important knowledge for humanity.
