Jefferson’s Bible

When I first started listening I worried that King James Version of the Bible used by Jefferson would be too difficult for me to follow. Jefferson’s strict filtering out of only text associated with Jesus’ teachings was actually riveting. In some cases I paused to research Jesus’ meaning and historical significance at that time. Of the readers, I found Mike Pelton to be outstanding. His British accent seemed to make the text flow so much more understandably. I recommend this book to anyone (believer in Jesus’ divinity or not) seeking more understanding of Jesus’ teachings.
