great book!! loved the characters!! absolutly, 100 %unbelievably GREAT job on the narration by the the author. I VERY much enjoyed all the different voices done for all the charaters!! and how natural he was able to do so, each voice was PERFECT for each character. (I sincerely hope to hear him read others books not just his own but others as well as he has quite a talent in this as well as writing.) 5++☆ Thank you!! I very much enjoyed my time listening to your imanginitive adventurous story along with your wonderful characters and (of course!!!) in your narration of it!!!!!!

Great adventure book!

The Merchant Adventurer was a lot of fun to listen to. The author did an excellent job making unpredictable things happen, which led to a very exciting story. The writing style is smooth and easy to follow with a good mix of diologue and description. The narration by the author greatly helps make the story come to life. Each of the characters are well developed and it shows through the author's voice inflection. The only thing I did not like in the book was some of the language used by the main characters.

This story was truly delightful. Between the authors sense of humor, wit and very professional variants of voices, the listener can’t help but be drawn in to it. I have listened to it repeatedly and each time found it to be a story that you found difficult to stop listening to until the end. I am not sure if there are any sequels to this story, but I certainly hope so. Well done Mr McLean. You are now one of my favorite authors. As good as Clive Cussler‼️

Disgustingly low morals. Incredibly shallow.

Writing about inconsequentially taking the life of someone is disturbing, even in fiction. After the woman is murdered the story then focuses on the bantering over the price of the dead woman's necklace, highlighting the smart-ass, callused attitude of the killer. And all of this being presented as though the incident is perfectly normal has to be the truest demonstration of obscene that I can possibly think of.

adventurous fantasy story with some funny characters. The story is very well read. in he beginning a bit fast paced but once you get used to it its very pleasant, also he slows down later on. the character voices are also very good. not exagerated and very believable.
