I never got into the 7th son... maybe cause I was dropped on my head too much since everyone else likes it so much.... but I am completely immersed in the Sword of Blood Story... I am on the 6th download...and just came across Phillippa Balentines cameo.... NICE!!! Talk about ...

I really wanted to like this. The story IS promising. But the author's descriptions of his female companions are off-putting; it's like listening to an inexperienced kid talk-- nay, brag extensively-- about his made-up girlfriend. I got to ch. 3 and had to stop listening.

I found j.c. Hutchins audio books on another site and was immediately captivated by him. I'm in love with his writing method and I the readings make it that much better! now I have to find the end of dark art!

Listened to it, promising. Good style. I got the impression that it resembled Phil Rossi's storytelling atmosphere more than 7th Son. It's good - looking forward to listen to episodes to come.
