DETECTIVES. THIEVES. TIME-TRAVELLERS. (REASONABLE RATES.)

'Somewhere in this city, there's a hole in history, in reality itself, and it's getting bigger. I'm the only detective in town who keeps an eye on what crawls through.'

Kilbey Salmon has charm, a quick gob and an instinct for self-preservation. Nero Dusk has a lot of patience, a grumpy demeanour and a way with his fists. Theo Cartwright is an Australian journalist who often wonders why she spends time with either of them.

In their time-travelling London cab, they scrape together a living finding things that never existed and solving crimes that never happened for people desperate enough to seek their help. Mostly, they get themselves in trouble. And when there's trouble for Salmon & Dusk, it's the strangest sort of trouble London has ever seen.

For a start, there's the artist whose paintings are taking on a life of their own, there's the client wanting to solve his own murder, there's the ex-convict and his misplaced loot, and there's a sociopathic vegan hunting a stopwatch that can wind back history itself.

I always forget how good Myke is at writing and podcsting. The Podiobooks version is all here, all at once, no waiting for the next installment. There's a great photo of this book at Myke's site, bright red cover declaring "Your Days Are Numbered" under a Christmas tree. What a ...

I could listen to Myke Bartlett's voice all day. Thankfully, I was able to, as I listened to Your Days Are Numbered. The world of Salmon and Dusk is a dark London underground, but the nonchalant character of Kilbey Salmon keeps things light enough so as not to depress, and ...

Further evidence of Myke Bartlett's greatness. I listened to "how to disappear completely" several times over just to appreciate the great writing, banter between the character, and the best narrator out there. I found myself listening to "your days are numbered" a couple times too. Myke is by far the ...

Mike bartlett is without a doubt my favorite authour ever. I have recommended his stories to anyone and everyone. But what I love most us that his stories speak to me (hah quite literally) the broken characters the beautifully sad stories, the dark humour. It's like mr Bartlett has taken ...

Myke Barlett never seems to disappoint. With matching wit and grit, the story keeps you strung along like a junky for a fix. But truly you keep coming back to visit what feels like old friends. I've come to know Theo, Kilby, and Nero so intimately that if I were ...

I *loved* this book and I'm actually really embaressed that I haven't listened to it before now. KIlby, Theo and Nero are all so entertaning and I loved all the stories in this book. Hopefully, Mr. Bartlett will let us visit them again soon.

Another enjoyable trippy tale

It's been a few years since I last enjoyed one of Myke Bartlett's readings and forgot how smooth his voice was. you don't get much better cadence and I would highly recommend listening to his works.

I can't get enough

I happened upon the podcast one day while randomly typing words into search engines. Best thing I ever found. wonderfully imaginative and fast paced.
