An interestingly different show, Sleep No More offers dramatic readings of thriller stories (often two or three per show) rather than dramatizations by a full cast. Nelson Omstead reads the thrill chills with backup spooky music and fantastic sound effects. This series ran from 1952 to Nov 1956 as 15 minute shows and then on as 30 minute shows. Get out the butter churn and get your blood curdling because Sleep No More will really thrill!

I did enjoy them. There is a duplicate

If you listen to them correctly they can be quite spooky. There is a duplicate. Numbers 1 & 10 are duplicates. They both have same two stories, The Waxwork & The Man and the Snake.

Highly entertaining

These dramatic readings of well-written stories will hook you. Also worthwhile listening are the NBC program promos that give you a taste of network radio programming in the mid-1950s. Wish there were more episodes!

I had no problem with the first few, but the rest only play for a minute and then stop. Maybe the problem is on my end - not sure.

I love this spine tingling thriller. Radio Theatre is the best stimuli for the mind and imagination.
