Superb quality and production.

I have really been enjoying this show. Savoring each episode. I would like to know more about this short series but as described above, there is not much known. Notwithstanding the subject matter and banter of the shows, I am very surprised it's thought to be from the early 30's. The sound engineer earned his paycheck. Wonderful show.

A Gem

This is a wonderful show - one of my favorites - and combines lovely choral music with great, loveable characters that exemplify simple, old-fashioned small-town values that we have largely forgotten today. I highly recommend giving all 26 episodes a listen, and see if you don't feel inspired afterwards. Wish there were more episodes!

A wonderful series
