I enjoy the the Aldrich Family series as I enjoy some short story collections from the same period. For me their low-key almost insipid characterizations create a "realism" that is in some way quite charming.

In the few episodes of this series I've listened to I just never found it funny. Maybe the humor never aged well, or maybe the show lacked someone with great comedic talents like Our Miss Brooks had in Eve Arden and Gale Gordon, but aside from its trademark: "HENRY, HENRY ALDRICH" "COMING MOTHER" I can't think of anything else to remember it by.
