The Room

terrific job adapting the Michael McCabe story for another series which I understand was itself based on an H.G. Wells tale, The Red Room. But the Nightfall version has a new twist ending, not the same ending as the Beyond Midnight version so be sure to listen to the verrrry end. I almost missed the clincher; don't you! Thanks volunteers for all the wonderful shows!
Travel the lonesome road...

Perfectly done for travelling the hills of Arkansas in the dark of night. Absolutely loved every minute. Don't make 'em like that anymore. ..
Great series ~ Wrong dates, titles, episode numbers

Love the Nightfall series and appreciate being able to listen to them again after so many years. However, it's a shame that the files posted here were not given even a basic cursory verification before being uploaded. As it is, most titles, dates and episode numbers don't sync with the mp3 of the show. I have checked 12 episodes so far and 10 have the wrong information. With so many episode logs available, in my opinion it's inexcusable to post files with such blatant and easily corrected errors.
A Quality OTR
ichabod82
This program is very well-written and the suspense always holds my interest. Unfortunately, some episodes are CBT's, which means they sound like Charlie Brown's Teacher when she talks down to him in class, very muffled audio, ha! I wish someone would re-master these great OTR's, I'm sure it can be done, and then we could enjoy them better.
A blast from my past!
almost human
My local NPR affiliate used to carry this show in the early '80s. I used to flip over and listen to it right after CBS Radio Mystery Theatre. These tales are quite well crafted with excellent production values and some will absolutely spook you out!
Night Fall

is the scariest radio program one night driving across the Dakotas at 1:30am I was listening to an episode & had to turn it off. Very well done.
CREEPY!!!
Dee_Grooovy
Holy wow, who knew Canadians could be so scary? Seriously, though - this is a very well done horror series from the early 80s. Really creepy stuff!
dark lonely roads....

Some are little cheesy but don't listen to these stories while driving on a dark lonely road. They'll creep you out! Good stuff.
