De Triffids


In this gripping science fiction adaptation of John Wyndham's classic novel, a meteor shower causes widespread blindness among those who gaze upon it. Amidst the chaos, a species of plant known as the Triffids undergoes rapid growth, transforming into deadly, mobile threats that begin to overrun the world.

The story follows a London biologist who, having recently undergone eye surgery, is one of the few unaffected by the blindness. As society collapses around him, he embarks on a perilous journey with a few companions in search of safety, facing various dangers along the way. Meanwhile, a scientist on an island near England races to find a solution to combat the Triffids, all while battling his own encounters with these menacing plants.
