Eb & Zeb 60 Eps

(3 Sterne; 2 Bewertungen)

Eb & Zeb (1932-1933) was a delightful radio series that followed the antics of two old codgers running a General Store in Corn Center. The show was reminiscent of the popular Lum & Abner comedy format, bringing humor and charm to its listeners.

One of the characters, Eb, is known for his most annoying whistle through his teeth, adding a unique twist to the show's comedic elements. Enjoy the laughter and nostalgia as you listen to all 60 episodes of this classic series.

Lum and Abner, not!

(3 Sterne)

I think the series merits 3 stars. It is very early radio and comedy writing was still in it's infancy...still vaudeville and burlesque material. But, while no where near the quality of Lum and Abner, it does have a certain charm.
