These were interesting and fairly straightforward little stories, but none of them were quite as good as the longer stories the author wrote. There are a few mentions of death, both animal and human, so parents might like to have a quick look before passing the book onto their children, particularly if they are sensitive. Most of the narrators were good and I thank them for their efforts.
