Thuvia Maid of Mars

(5 Sterne)

The 4th in the Barsoom series. Classic ERB delivered by one of the best narrators Mark Nelson. This story follows John Carter's son.

Good read

(5 Sterne)

Typical ERB. plenty of high adventure and heroes to be proud of. The reader in this version does an excellent job. I will ever after look for his name when selecting between versions. I may even read a book or two I otherwise would skip just because he is reading. Great job, thanks!

great reading of the 4th book of Mars series

(5 Sterne)

Another great read by Mark Nelson. Even though John Carter doesn't play a major role the story offers everything you could want from a John Carter story. Highly recommended.

Uplifting escapism

(4 Sterne)

Maybe it's not the highest form of literature known to man, but its a great tale of dashing heroes and almost so dashing heroines. Mark Nelson's reading is perfect. I really enjoyed this one.

Mediocre Story but Excellent Narration

(3 Sterne)

The fourth book in this series wasn’t quite as good as the first three. But Mr. Nelson does a fantastic job of making it compelling in spite of itself.

(4,5 Sterne)

A nice energetics twist on the Mars series. Always fun to see when the next secret passage or chance encounter will propel the plot forward. Again nicely read by Mr. Mark Nelson.

some interesting new concepts

(5 Sterne)

I like the idea of the realists. It kept this from being as boilerplate as I thought it was going to be. Great reading as always.

worth the listen

(4 Sterne)

Not nearly as good as the previous 3 books but has its moments and still worth the listen to a great story reader
