I enjoyed this final book in the trilogy made all the better by the narrator whose voice and cadence suited this book written in 1932. The dialogue is constructed very much of its time; just look at the early black and white films. As I have said before, these early sci-fi novels simply demonstrate the breadth of the genre and for me, at least, represent a welcomed sojourn into a much earlier style of writing and view of space.
Great read

This story is terrific! There is action, adventure and on the earth and in space. The only drawback is that the reader is quite mono-toned in his reading of it and unfortunately I kept dozing off. If I think of this book as fantasy rather than science fiction then the changes in knowledge av=bout space and the moon since it was written don't make any difference and it is easy to enjoy the story.
Excellent sci-fi

I enjoyed this sci-fi, even if it is far fetched. Chet, an interstellar pilot, sees a distress call on the far away moon. Someone must be there. Chet and his friend decide to fly an old spaceship there to rescue the person signaling for help. They learn that the moon is inhabited with more than just one person trying to escape. Reader was excellent. Thanks!
Unfortunately sleep inducing

The narrator's mono tone narration did me in more than six times... Great cure for insomnia... 5 stars... but not the effect I was seeking... Can not comment on the story sorry.
STAR WARS TYPE ENDING

A most enjoyable, if short. story. I have said it before, these old scifi writers usually exhibit more fertile imaginations than current ones. Again. RK is always a great listen.
