the readers are all fun to listen too and the stories move along at a fast pace, exiting and humores. 10/10 would recamend

The readers are good but... THEY PUT IN THE ROMAN NAMES FOR THE GODS NOT THE GREEK NAMES! 😤 It is mildly triggering.

Not Greek.

great stories, but these are the Roman counterparts. Mars? Come on.

a bit of a stretch...

First of all: The readers did a great job! The book itself on the other hand did make me cringe quite a bit. Despite the title, Mr. Baldwin seems unable to grasp the difference between Roman and Greek and keeps messing with the characters (especially in regard to their names). The stories in this book are turned into very stretched fairytale versions of the original myths and remind me more of a Hollywood movie than actual mythology. That is a shame, as the original stories certainly don't lack any entertainment in the first place. Alternatively I recommend: 'Myths and Legends of Ancient Greece and Rome' by E. M. Berens (https://librivox.app/book/2264)

easy listening
