What Katy Did

(5 Sterne)

A truly delightful story about six children and their widowed father. Katy is the eldest child and I found it interesting to see how accurate to birth order the story is. The reader was superb, as always!

Karen Savage is delightful to listen to. The story was funny, sad and reminded me of Anne of Green Gables. Looking forward to listining to the other books.

Beautifully Read

My children kept asking for just one more chapter again and again.

Great!

Lovely book and great reader! thanks!

First and foremost, Karen Savage is a brilliant reader! Searching for her is how I obtain my books to listen. "What Katy Did" is an enjoyable listen (read). As I am disabled, I felt "seen" by the author, knowing pain as I do. The characters are brilliantly alive pulling you into the environment of the story as if you are there!

Another Must Read.

Loved it. A friend recommended it and I was a bit skeptical, but I thoroughly enjoyed it start to finish. Of course Karen Savage reading it was the icing on the cake. She does know how to bring a book to life!

a beautifully read story that grows on you

I was not very captivated by the first two chapters, and almost stopped listening to it. but I'm glad I pushed through. It's a sweet little story, and I was touched by the way it progressed. Karen brought the story to life, and I wouldn't have enjoyed it half so much without her.

delightful

A change of pace for me. I was following Karen Savage, who does a fantastic reading every time, and stumbled on to this presentation much to my enjoyment. The story moves quickly and skims along with a snapshot of life in a bygone era. It is good to take a break from more intense plots.
