Rolf Boldrewood
A tale of cattle duffing, horse stealing and bushranging in the New South Wales outback with Captain Starlight.
To quote the author "though presented in the guise of fiction, this chronicle of the Marston family must not be set down by the reader as wholly fanciful or exaggerated. Much of the narrative is literally true, as can be verified by official records. A lifelong residence in Australia may be accepted as a guarantee for fidelity as to local colour and descriptive detail." (Summary by Annise ) (19 hr 46 min)

interesting story. spoiled by some readers.

I enjoyed most of the story until Christine Blackford started reading. It was one thing to listen to the sing song voice of Richard Kilmar but I had to pass altogether for the other. Even if people volunteer, they need to be able to read. Mike Harris was great and I so wish he had taken on more of the story. Stars were for poor narration, not for story. Note to Mike...goal is "jail" in Aussie speak. :)
