A must listen or read for everyone!

first off, I have to say the reader of this book is excellent. I think everyone needs to listen to this, especially in today’s world where words and history are being changed while we are not paying attention. This may give some people a glimpse into how diabolical things can become over a period of time when we aren’t paying attention.

1984 is not fiction and it's not prophecy. There seems to be some sort of metaphysical requirement for 'Them' to publicly announce their plans, and having done so, are free to carry them out. A strongly analogous situation is the Simpsons House Cat Flu episode from November 21 2010 as a prelude to the covid 19 so called pandemic.

Terrifying account of what can happen when a socialist ideology takes over a country. A must read and probably will be shockingly real to North Koreans.

A wonderful reading. 'Enjoy' isn't quite the right word, because I had forgotten how horrific the story is. The reader's voice is perfect for this story. Well done!

Reader was excellent. And since I am from Pakistan which is going through unprecedented authoratian and fascist regime, this book hits hard.

Perfect narrator for this book. Everyone needs to read or listen to this book especially with the direction society is going today.

So much of the novel has come true. Very sobering.
Great narration. The story is interesting in light of current events.
