They range from the Singing Girls of Sherbrooke, suitably on the Caprice label, to Pierre Berton reading poetry by Robert Service. All the albums have one thing in common: limited appeal to a specialized audience. . . . . . .Grade schoolers of all ages will be interested in a Centennial presentation by Toronto-area radio station CFGM, entitled Canadian School Days — a sound trip back to the one-room schoolhouse of 1867 and a preview of the electronic school of 2067. The record begins with a loud school bell, followed by a teacherly voice coyly asking: "Recognize this sound?” What follows is a mildly witty glance Into past and future with some amusing contrasts to schools today.
