Gelesen von Hamlet
Charles Dickens
Nell and her elderly grandfather must flee from home after losing their shop and home to the evil Mr. Quilp. Her good-for-nothing brother, convinced that his grandfather is hoarding a great fortune intended for Nell, joins forces with Quilp to hunt them down, so that he can marry her off to his easily-led friend Nick and share in the fortune. Can Nell elude this fate? The first three chapters are told from the point of view of Master Humphrey, of Dickens' other work, "Master Humphrey's Clock." ( Brad "Hamlet" Filippone) (21 hr 20 min)

He had a clear voice that fit the story. The voices weren't aggravating and I could multitask while still understanding what I was hearing. Good book and good reader.

The narrator does a fine job of interpreting Dickens' characters, especially the sublimely evil Daniel Quilp. Sincere thanks to the narrator for this excellent reading.
