American? British?

(3.5 stars)

I'm leaning toward American because some of the recipes, like Haggis and Yorkshire pudding, would be familiar to cooks from Great Britain. On the other hand, I can't place the time period more exactly than late 19th Century. The recipes refer to standardized teaspoons and tablespoons, but then throw in dessert spoonfuls and salt spoonfuls. It's interesting.

good ! best cook book ever !
