Accordingly, they may be unsuitable for listeners of a nervous disposition. Any recordings made from repeats aired in or after 2020 have been carefully checked to make sure they do not contain any censorship cuts. Repeats sourced from vinyl disc recordings made in the past by the old BBC Transcription Service, for sale to overseas broadcasters, will contain other cuts. It was impossible to store a complete 30 minute broadcast on a 33 rpm vinyl disc, which had a maximum running time of about 27 minutes. Also, the commercial stations which bought the discs typically wanted up to 5 minutes of material cut, to enable them to play local advertising in that time instead.

This recording is part of the Old Time Radio collection.
