My Summer of Country Music, 1967 [Part One] Recorded, LIVE ! at Weissglass Stadium, Staten Island, New York. In this segment, we join Rosalie Allen,   The Yodeling Radio Cowgirl of the 40’s. One of the many Country Music celebrities that appeared that day. They’re honoring the King of the Country Music DJs, Bob Lockwood.  During the 1960's, promoter Smokey Warren presented Country Music to the New York Metro Area. Rosalie Allen (born Julie Marlene Bedra; June 27, 1924 – September 23, 2003) was an American country singer, songwriter, guitarist, columnist and television and radio host who was noted for her yodeling. She was known as the Queen of Yodeling, and was the first woman inducted into the Country Music DJ Hall of Fame. DJ Bob Lockwood from Chicago, brought the sounds of Country Music over Country Music Radio Station,   WJRZ, The Big 97, Countrypolitan!
