Captain Bob Farnon leads The Canadian Band of the Allied Expeditionary Force in radio broadcasts featuring Big Band music from World War Two. Robert Joseph Farnon, born on July 24, 1917, was a renowned Canadian composer of light orchestral music, celebrated for his arrangements of popular songs and his influence on top writers across the Atlantic.
Throughout the latter half of the 20th century, Farnon was regarded as one of the greatest living composers in his genre. He also produced memorable film scores and chose to make his home in Britain, where he left a lasting impact on the music scene.

Bob Farnon had some outstanding full orchestra light music LPs recorded in the late 50s. This is another dimension and also outstanding. Thanks for sharing.
