Four and Twenty Fairy Tales

Read by LibriVox Volunteers

(4.3 stars; 3 reviews)

This is a collection of French fairy tales by different famous authors. Included in this collection are such famous tales as Sleeping Beauty and Cinderella, but also tales which are now not as well-known but closely connected and certainly of interest to anyone enjoying fairy tales of that description. The translation is well made by James Planché (1858), a connoisseur of historical costume, which to this day plays a big role in fairy tales. - Summary by Carolin (23 hr 28 min)

Well I was pleasantly surprised when I discovered the many new Fairy Tales that I have never heard in my childhood. Although there are various readers, they read the Fairy Tales very well. Although I'm an adult now, I love to listen to these Fairy Tales, they relax me and bring back wonderful childhood memories.
