One of our best comedians in the mid-20th Century. Not remembered as well as he SHOULD be, really. He was "Wilbur Post" on the hugely popular TV series Mr. Ed but beyond that he gave a wonderful performance as Rod Talor's friend in the George Pal production of THE TIME MACHINE (and he has a cameo in the latest remake, as well...take a close look at the man our time traveller buys flowers from in the early part of THAT one). But give this show a lesson...Alan shows just how funny he was when he wasn't playing straight man to a Palomino.
