Not enough action in this one...

This story really is more of a start than a story. I wish the author had made it longer. I listened to it 2x to make sure I didn't miss anything, and it just didn't have enough substance to it. Phil did an excellent reading tho. Thanks Phil!

when i first read this story, it was the later, far more detailed version. This version is the original short story and for its time it was ok. I look forward with interest to the inclusion of the later, fuller version at some future date. PLEASE

Fun, Campy Listen

A fun lighthearted story about a man and his will to live. Exists truly in the spirit of old timey science fiction and the fight of the intelligent man against the forces of nature.

enjoyable

I personally liked the story, not his best but not bad, and I also think Phil does a great job as usual. I think his voice suits sci-fi stories perfectly!

The title is more exciting than the story.

This short story is short on science and quick to find it's ending. In between, the opportunity to generate interest is by-passed.

Bravo from Borneo

Interesting old-school sci-fi short story. I particularly liked the pretext for the story; the challenge of overcoming a natural phenomenon greater than a simple storm.

not bad. short tho.

Very well read book. I enjoyed the way he read the book allowed. With voice inflections and feeling.
