Lamrim Year Meditation with Ven. Katy Cole Mondays, 6:00pm – 7:00pm September 6 – December 13, 2021 The lamrim, stages of the path, is a core topic of study in our Buddhist tradition. The lamrim provides a concise and easily graspable picture of the Buddhist path. Transformation comes not only from study, but from thinking about the topics and doing analytical meditation on them, to make them a part of our lives. Venerable Katy will help us to deepen our lamrim understanding through analytical meditation, beginning with practices to calm, and focus the mind before moving on to the lamrim topics gleaned from Lama Zopa Rinpoche’s new book Lamrim Year: Making Life Meaningful Day by Day which is available in print or electronic version from Lama Yeshe Wisdom Archive ( https://www.lamayeshe.com/article/lamrim-year ). Venerable Katy will also touch on concentration and visualization meditations. This program is offered drop-in and will benefit meditators of all levels. It is a wonderful support for the students currently engaged with the Discovering Buddhism and the Exploring Buddhism Programs.
