seems to be the full text to me

classic short story but dramatisation not appropriate

(3 stars)

classic futuristic dis/utopian short story. The text is not written in a way that lends itself to dramatisation. it would have flowed better if it had been just the narrator. the volunteers all read so slowly that the character sounded like they were sedated.

Great short story

Great short story. The reading slightly disjointed, but still well done.

I'm sorry

I get the idea behind the presentation. I think the narrator's voice production is way too tinny, and harsh. When mixed with the more mellow and bassy characters it makes a cacophony. (line) he said (line) she said (line) he said That just lost the continuity and creates its own sensation which then loses the thread of the story. I love Vonnegut. I am not searching for an alternative way to grab this story. Sorry,

Excellent!

I enjoy Vonnegut's books especially Slaughter House Five or the children's crusade; as always his books was far better than any cinema could dream of depicting.

Dystopian before it was a rage

It always amazes me the classics from ages ago, and how forward thinking these authors were. Excellent food for thought.

Short and sweet. I enjoyed the older short story of the future that didn't pan out quite right, so far.
