Beautiful reading of a classic novel! Anne's further adventures are read with expression and heart - I've listened at least three times through! This is my favourite version of this book!

The woman who reads this is simply lovely. Her voice is very calming but really holds your attention and makes the story and the characters come to life! This is definitely my favorite version of the book!

Exquisite!

Lucy Maud Montgomery herself would be delighted to hear Karen Savage's interpretation of her stories. She brings them alive, as though she really were Anne. Never will I tire of hearing Karen's reading. Like watching the movie in your head! :)

Splendid!!

I grew up on the two movies they made and obviously Anne of Avonlea is a totally different story in the book then it is in the actual movie. At first wasn't too sure I liked it but now I love the book version as well! I also like that the love story between Gilbert and Anne is it's just brought out deeper by how it is written in the book. luv luv luv it!

Perfect Narration

Karen Savage has never cease to impress me. her voice is perfectly suited for the and books in both the characterization and her style. I don’t think I could even read and without listening to her audio renditions!

Beautiful

This reader did a tremendous job! Loved her voice! Looking up more books read by her. This story is sweet and has many aspects not mentioned in the movie. As usual, the book is better.

Anne is such a fulfilling character

Ahh, Anne in the role of a teacher is everything I could ask for. My heart is so full when she talks about her students and I feel an unfamiliar warmth hearing how she's denying her beliefs have changed and ever will change. I love her character to the deepest parts of my soul, I am so glad I came across these books.
