Love's Lovely Counterfeit is a gripping suspense drama by James M. Cain, originally aired on CBS on January 17, 1948. The story follows Ben Grace, a gangster who rises to power by manipulating a reform politician's campaign manager, June Lyons. A real gem

This drama is not at all dated and with the iconic James Cagney the interpretation of the main character is superb. Brilliant plot and excellent sound quality I highly recommend it.
