murky murder detective story
SR
Quite an absorbing detective story set in the world of the French bourgeoisie. I find that the Maigret stories don't have too many likeable characters and in addition, in this story, Simenon's obsessive disgust at women's sexuality plays a jarring role. All in all I felt a little grubby at the end of it! But the whodunit aspect is still intriguing. Thanks to SANWAL for uploading.
Intriguing
LE L
A short mystery story with an unusual plot and an unusual resolution.

Another well done interpretation of a Simenon story.
A valiant effort
